Light, breezy, and enjoyable, if overlong and lacking the wit it would need to be an unqualified classic. Still -- Audrey Hepburn!

This is the first time Audrey co-starred with a younger male lead, Peter O'Toole was 34 to her 37 here, and their sexual chemistry and flirtatious dialogue makes this film a keeper. Too bad O'Toole didn't get more romantic parts. There's an in-joke about Audrey's taste for fashion when O'Toole outfits her in a cleaning woman disguise and says she'll have to give Givenchy the night off! ;) This is a fun romp about art forgeries & Hugh Griffith as Audrey's father is hilarious.

Wait -- Hepburn is able to have an age-appropriate love interest? There's someone in the cast simply named "Moustache", and believe me, it will become obvious which character he is playing. This film is charming and comical, which is sometimes all you need.

This somewhat formulaic and familiar rom-com heist is made all the better by its charm and light-heartedness. Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole have great chemistry on-screen and pretty much carry the entire film on their backs. There's a few rushed subplots here and there, but all in all this is just plain old fun. The heist sequence itself is a little bit of a ripoff of Hitch, but it works fairly well and uses some ingenious ideas. A good little fun ride for kicking back and relaxing.

Very good romantic comedy with captivating performances by the two leads. There's some good wit, the movie moves along at a nice pace and there's an entertaining heist scene central to the plot.

Fun caper with a bit of a dated heist but still enjoyable. The real star of the show is Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe. Her relationship with her dad had more chemistry and funny than the one with her costar Peter O'Toole, but he puts in a charming effort as well. The magnet scene was tedious and ridiculous. Fav scene: Hepburn driving home in a egg helmet and a tiny red car, then screeching up to her entry staircase. What an entrance.

A delightful romp, strong performances, beautiful visuals. The second half in particular is great, full of little twists that make for a believable romantic heist flick.

A very enjoyable little romantic comedy. As such you won't be viewing this for a deep and complex plot. Hepburn and O'Toole work well together and are believable as romantic interests. The heist is fun to watch, the dialogue witty and enjoyable, and it had a rather interesting plot of trying to steal a known forgery. O'Tooles character really needs to invest in some gloves though... fingerprints everywhere.

"How to Steal a Million" is a charming, utterly hilarious and brilliantly executed comedy. O'Toole and Hepburn make for a great on-screen couple and the fact that they never worked together again is a mystery. And a pity. And another reason to watch this masterpiece again and again and again. Hugh Griffith also provides a wonderful performance, while the genius dialogues are probably the most valuable asset of a film as good as that other Wyler/ Hepburn picture, "Roman Holiday".

This movie wasn't a masterpiece of any kind but it was charming (mostly because of Hepburn) and very watchable. I didn't find it funny but the story was decent enough for me to make it through. I was impressed with the sheer amount of shit O'Toole could hide in his clothes and you gotta love a cast list that includes someone named "Moustache."

About as believable and much more enjoyable than most of these modern heist movies. Better humor than you might expect. Hepburn and O'Toole worked well together.

Delightful movie, with great casting and very chic story. I would love to know how the magnet moved the key around the square corner on the cupboard though!

Light romantic comedy, one of the better Audrey Hepburn films, in my opinion. She and O'Toole are charming, the story moves along at a good pace, with a satisfying ending. The heist is a nice bit of clever plotting. The humor is occasionally undermined by annoyingly wacky music cues ("boiiiing!").

Somewhat formulaic but elevated substantially by Hepburn and O'Toole, who are perfect in their roles and have perfect chemistry. The heist (and closet) elements are far fetched but great fun. The close quarters closet scene reminded me of Soderbergh's Out of Sight. 2nd half is better than the 1st. The mustache gag is hilarious. Eli Wallach doesn't really stand out (which disappointed me as I usually love him.) Great entertainment, yet somehow still not as good as the other Wyler/Hepburn collabs.

Entertaining combination of romantic comedy and heist. Plot is simple, yet clever and sometimes funny. A heist-driven love story consisting of the charming Audrey Hepburn is all you need to please the audience.

O'Toole isn't the most natural romantic lead here (might have been his first time in that role) but by the end, Audrey softens him up. It's a silly film but still one of the most entertaining of its genre.

Utterly charming caper comedy, with Hepburn and O'Toole in great form (and making a surprisingly charismatic couple). Feels like a cake walk from director Wyler, with very little here to stretch him, though the heist sequence is a beautifully executed bit of farce. The one surprising weak link is Wallach, who feels underused and miscast as a naive suitor to Hepburn.
