Top badass moment? And they all lived happily ever after, the end. Except of course all the poor, little, innocent worms that have been burnt, microwaved, crushed or liquidised since this perverted filth was released, as generations of youngsters try to replicate what they’ve seen on screen. Worms today, world domination by evil, meat-eating dictators tomorrow. Mark my words, it's happening. Not a good movie for fat old vegans with no sense of humour. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Target demographics are the real key to enjoying this film, as the younger you are, the more likely you will probably enjoy the stingy pleasures offered.

Decently made, but overall pretty bland.

"Bob Dolman sets dull-as-dishwater images to a straightforward adaptation of Thomas Rockwell's prize-winning kid-lit classic." - Ed Gonzalez

I vaguely remember a book, or cartoon from childhood. It didn't leave much of a mark and neither will this. Most of the children are annoying (which I guess passes as humor).

My little cousin, whom I was watching this with, asked me if he'd have to eat worms to not be bullied in school. I told him, "No, don't do anything they did in this movie, ever." Seriously, this was a terrible children's movie.

Definitely a "Fear Factor" for kids type film. I have fun watching this movie with my own kid, who always looks away whenever something gross is about to happen, like eating a worm sandwich. Is it the greatest family film of all time? Not even close, but it's definitely different.
