Although I was never sure what House of Time was trying to be, I still enjoyed the film somewhat. The film plays with the idea that the group's escapade into the past may be a ruse by their host, and while this theme runs heavily through the film it is never quite convincing enough. The comedy elements are downplayed, but present in the characters; the cast does well, even if some conversations don't go far enough. The film picks up for the 3rd act to deliver a satisfying end.
