Hotel Continental

A semi rip-off of Grand Hotel (1932). The story follows mostly Theodore von Eltz a thief who's returned to the hotel where he's hidden his loot and with several parties looking to cash in on his treasure. One of them is Peggy Shannon who is sent to trick him but falls in love instead. This plays out in very dull melodramatic way and it's clear it's a very low budget attempt from Tiffany Productions who went out of business with 1932.

The story is okay but it felt like the whole thing would've been better as a short.
