Hotel Anchovy

The Ritz Brothers, making their first screen appearance in a two-reeler for Educational. A bigger deal on the vaudeville and nightclub circuits (and well-liked and admired among the comic set) but they made some pictures for a time. Not the fanciest material on display here, but they've got tons of energy and tight timing as they dash and bound their way through a schticky skit running a hotel. As always when they've got a scenario going, Harry takes lead.

The Ritz Brothers? Yeah, you guessed it. Marx Brothers wannabes! They try to be zany, but it just comes off very wrong and tiresome....
