Shaw Brothers art film, at least it can be called that in the context of other films produced by the company. It's a sad little story about couple of outsiders who are trying to make it in 80's Hong Kong. Cherie Chung plays an illegal immigrant (her first serious role for SB), who marries old loaf of a man in hope to be allowed to stay in HK after giving birth, but is actually in love with a young gambler turned thai-boxer who just wants to be rich.
