I have what amounts to a 'kiddie movie hell' here on Criticker; a place for horrible films that didn't feel the need to try simply because they were made for children. This does not belong there. Ok, so it's not a very good movie but it's not terrible (especially for a direct to video feature). Maybe I just have a soft spot for Rick Moranis, but I'd rather watch this than Good Burger, Jungle 2 Jungle or any of the other god awful kid's films that I had to watch growing up.

This was quite bad. It has a cheap DTV look to it with outdated FX which is a bit surprising considering it's directed by Dean Cundey who is known as a cinematographer of lots of great films. It doesn't really connect with the previous films and feels completely unnecessary. I did like the Hot Wheels scene though; the film could have used more of those.

I'm already biased against Rick Moranis, but Mila Kunis should theoretically cancel that out. And yet, it was just too full of plot holes.

Fun kids film is ultimately an unnecessary irrelevance, but surprisingly well done for this sort of "direct to video" knock off - having a genially goofy Moranis back helps, and while the screenplay lacks ambition (we basically get the chopped up, single set "greatest hits" of the earlier films) it's still fun, especially as a nostalgia trip for those of us young enough to remember being captivated by the earlier films. Its sweet nature and good heart makes it difficult to be too uber critical.

The world's wackiest scientist has done it again! The joke's on absent-minded scientist Wayne Szalinski when his troublesome invention shrinks him, his brother and their wives so effectively that their children think they've completely disappeared. Of course, this gives the kids free rein to do anything they want, unaware that their parents are watching every move.

The cast does fine and the idea is used to it's full advantage. It just isn't all that exciting and ends up feeling unnecessary.

The first film was cute, and stands the test of time. This movie is only relevant for the inclusion of Rick Moranis before he gave up acting, and a very young Mila Kunis before she was in That 70s Show.

Not nearly as much heart as the first movie and the novelty starts to wear off after a half-hour or so. One of those things that only exists to make money based on the success of the original. There is some interesting special effects, however, and I'm sure it was a blast making this. I doubt I'd ever sit down and choose to watch this, but if it were on TV I'd probably leave it on for a few minutes. Rich Moranis has a certain quirky charm and you can certainly do worse for family films.

Honey, these crappy movies shrunk the bottom line for the studio that produced this tripe, and as a result, the only kind of movies we can make are stupid movies about shrinking crap. What a vicious circle!

There seems to be nothing left for Wayne Szalinsky to shrink except of course himself and some others. That's all that is different from any of the the other "Honey" movies. This one doesn't expand on any concepts or have any real value.

By now, no one cares who gets shrunk. It doesn't even seem like a surprise anymore. Would someone just get rid of that infernal machine? The only thing it does is give Rick Moranis trouble! Total crap!
