Hollow Creek

Some interesting ideas are lost in this strange hybrid of relationship drama, horror movie, serial killer movie and even innocent-on-the-lam movie; not helped by lacklustre casting (even Reynolds looks depressingly bored and disconnected) and schizophrenic plotting, which careens from one plot thread to the other without making any sense. Some of the dialogue is laughably bad.

Pathetic writing, poor dialog & unconvincing plot. A kernel of a good idea but very poor execution. Guisela Moro was satisfying. Steve Daron was uneven. Video quality was good. Music was too heavy handed. Unnecessary supernatural nonsense, ghosts & one dimension maniacal dimwits. The supporting cast was stiff & unconvincing, especially the police & office staff. Burt Reynolds was good. The plot and dialog was unbearably bad at the end.
