The tailor Tosse is ordered to return to his old regiment to rehearse what he learned many years ago. But he lets his assistant Loffe to do it for him. Everything is fine until Loffe gets the same order - at the same regiment. When Tosse comes to the regiment, it becomes a clear case of mistaken-identity. Caught this on TV today. Folksy Swedish comedy like they made it back in the day. Hjältar i gult och blått (1940) is basically the type of creation TV would take over a decade or two later. Simple production values and not too much effort on either the script or details. Sure, it'll pass the time if one's familiar and like these actors, but in the end it became a tedious family comedy.
