Is there any reason to see Hit & Run? Sure. If you want to support Dax Shepard, who appeared to be the main reason this film got made at all, you might want to give it a watch. Or, if you believe anything that's strange is funny, you'll laugh a few times. And if you've never before seen a car chase, the ones here will amaze. If you don't fit into any of these three categories, you should skip this movie. It's dull and unfunny and isn't worth your time.

7- recommended, good :: Dax must really like driving fast cars and I can respect that. :: Better than I expected and it looked like fun.

You know a movie isn't going to be funny when Tom Arnold is the funniest part of it.

Pretty decent action/comedy flick. The two leads have great chemistry and riff off each other real well, not long after this they are real life married. The other well known faces have some comical moments as well and the action scenes are fun.

Thoroughly mediocre and immemorable. There are a few funny character moments, but the jokes are repeated ad nauseam. Shepard's screen-writing inexperience shows, as the movie is all car chases and wish fulfilment, with an occasional social etiquette lecture thrown in. Meh!

I can't say that Dax Shepard really proved himself as an actor enough for someone to give him the whole writer/directer responsibility too, but here it is, and it's about as good as every other Dax Shepard movie, which is to say, not particularly good. Basically, it's a disposable comedy with a couple laughs and a disposable story.

An effortlessly clever conceit provides the backbone for a fun and entertaining film given flesh by dry, understated performances and a script that surprised me with its relatability.

This movie is a pleasant surprise. It is a lot better movie then the trailer shows. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have excellent chemistry together and there are other interesting performances in this film. There are some nice car scenes and some funny moments. Overall Iwould recommend this comedy.

Surprising romantic comedy masquerading as a crime drama. Unconvincing bad guys, and US Marshal and police roles are ridiculous. There is an overall lack of credibility in the story, but still fun to watch. A few hilarious moments in this mostly satisfactory romantic comedy. Some smart dialog and a few totally crazy scenes.

I feel like this one slipped through the cracks a little. No, it's never going to be anyone's favorite movie, but it's quick and clever and funny and actually has a couple pretty amusing characters in it. It didn't necessarily rise above being a way to pass the time, but it passed the time admirably.

Hey, Bell and Shepard are a real life couple. How zany! More importantly, Tom Arnold rapes this movie with his mouth.

Fun, Tom Arnold is entertaining and so is Dax Shepard. Good fun.

This was so great! Between Tom Arnold making a total ass of himself by letting his car run off without him and firing at it and all the other mishaps he has with his firearm. This movie contained a lot of charm. Dax Shepard did the brunt of the work doing the writing, directing and was the main character. With the the help of his friends Cooper, Bell and others this was just a fun little film. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Very, very enjoyable to the very end.

I expected this to be a lot worse, but the first fifteen minutes or so are completely misleading, and this flick actually gets a heck of a lot funnier. Shepard probably had a blast doing the stunts (seen him on Top Gear's track before), and I have to at least give him props for writing and directing.

Dax Shepard is not overwhelmingly funny. He clearly has some talent, but nothing that really jumps out at you. This movie seemed a bit forced at times, mostly from the baddie characters, but it isn't terrible. Some of the intimate humor between Bell and Shepard works well. The obviously love of cars from Shepard shines through as well.

Such an amusing and cheap genre-bender exploitation flick, dealing with road movie and romcom stuff in a compilation of car chases, silly jokes and the cheesiest, corniest acting of 2012 -- Cooper at his best, with great psycho-surf-related material, Tom Arnold being lousy because he's just lousy and he knows it and that crazy bitch who offers Annie that interview in LA are amazing. This just couldn't be better than this.

It plays like a Tarantino homage, whether it intends to or not--Clarence and Alabama after the honeymoon's over. And for awhile, it's sort of amusing. But it's ultimately just aimless. The dialogue, characters, and plot twists are nowhere near as entertaining as they were in all the late-90's QT knockoffs that rolled out, and the direction's pretty bad. If you enjoy seeing cars drive around in circles, though, here's your flick.

I'm sorry, I'm big on Bradley Cooper, but the story was very weak, and Tom Arnold (or his character), was a scene destroyer every time he was on screen.

It's never hilarious but it's often amusing and entertaining to watch. You could do worse for a fun summer movie.
