Republic following up their own The Hit Parade (1937) with a 1940 (or 1941 they called it) update. And honestly, it was just another nonsense musical with a ton of acts and a pointless plot to link them together. just like the 1937 original. Did have a couple of highlights. That being Hugh Herbert doing his thing and the musical act of Borrah Minevitch and His Harmonica Rascals, so there are aspects to enjoy about Hit Parade of 1941 (1940).
