Short stories from Edgar Allan Poe & Thomas De Quincey loosely combined by a discussion at a police station. And it's fine. Not that any of the stories is the quintessential adaptation of the classic tales. So one could have wished for more narrative care to make them stand-out, but this wasn't exactly the greatest period for horror.
