A very engaging short documentary of how a native Indian from Quebec works building skyscrapers in New York City, with breathtaking shots of walking on narrow beams 25 stories in the air, as well as a chilling recounting of the death of numerous Indian iron workers building a bridge in Quebec in the early part of the century. A solid piece of workmanship that the ironworkers depicted in this movie would probably like, and not just because it's about them. Francks gives us good "working Joe" narration, the images are crisp, and the accompanying folk music is fine. Overall, a memorable snapshot of 1960s North America and an obscure segment of the society therein
