I mean some of these RomComs just exist to promote the wedding industry, right? Is that even a conspiracy or is that just openly a thing?

Now while I'm not into "girl power" movies I'm not into "girl bashing" movies either. Was I the only one who thought that this movie made every female in it seems like a vapid idiot. The few moments I liked were from bit characters such as Luis Guzmán and the guy who was the Wiccan, also Justin Long and Jennifer Connelly's progression wasn't too bad. Overall I can't get why anyone would call this movie a realistic portrayal of human romance.

Cheesy, simplistic rom-com full of so-called "insights" into the dating game, the male psyche, female expectations etc. Uhm. Not so much. The men are portrayed in fairly realistic fashion, whilst the women are reduced to panicky souls, who can only be validated through a relationship (and ultimately marriage and children). The message/ideology is pretty ridiculous. Overall not quite as horrible as expected though. Thumbs up to Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin.

Great performances, specifically Justin Long and Jennifer Connelly. Funny and not too stupid, as movies of this type can often be. A little more mature and realistic. I enjoyed it.

Oh, it's funny and even has some heart. It has some cliches but then it breaks some others. Justin Long played the best character, and there are a lot of attractive people in here that, whether you want to admit it or not, helps. I liked it more than I thought I would.

For a date movie this was actually alright. Cheezy? Yes? Predictable ending? You bet. But there was some funny stuff. Ginnifer Goodwin is moving up the list of actress I enjoy watching, especially her interactions with Justin Long (from Microsoft) Her scenes are pretty funny. Kevin Connolly really has a hard time shaking that Entourage role. I swear to god he could have just been E in this and I would have bought into it.

Quite honestly it wasnt that bad. It's like crash meets all romantic dramas. There are a lot of people and couples explored in this and it was fine, but they' could've narrowed it down and cut the length of the film. Honestly not bad for a chick flick.

One has to wonder whether upon discovering "He's Just Not That Into You" is it because you are hopelessly, socially fucking incompetent and retarded, because you go on at great length about abso-fucking-lutely nothing or you're just plain old tired of fucking the sticks right out of some people's asses? Were the movie to address any of these questions either honestly or at all then discovering why He's Just Not That Into You would be a worthwhile journey.

I didn't realize this had such a star studded cast. And while the case performed as well as could be expected, the writing here left a lot to be desired. Very few laughs and basically nobody to root for, so it just doesn't really work as either a rom or a com.

Finally a movie where Ben Affleck wasn't the least likeable character. Everyone in this movie turns out to be exactly the opposite of what you think at the beginning...except for Ginnifer Goodwin, who's always adorable but for one awkward scene.

Depicts women like stupid geese from a 50's movie, but in some sick way it's partly refreshing as an alternative to all the equal-rights hysteria and 'women-are-the-stronger-sex' frenzy that's been going on for too long... And (!) Scarlett's ass looks better than ever.

Not to shabby. Bradley Cooper should stop trying to be the new Matthew McConaughey. I found Ginnifer Goodwin not quite as annoying as I ususally do. Justin Long, endearing as always. My favoirites were Jennifer Aniston and Ben Affleck. I'm glad he went away for a few years so I could have a chance to miss him.

Tries to be a clone of the much better film "Love Actually". Aspects that this wannabe poser lacked in its cloning were the likable characters, humor, a good script, great music and a lovable vibe. It can be assumed that during the cloning process they just thought "Well 10% is a good enough effort, right?"One redeemable part about it is the solid performance from Scarlett Johansson which could never save this foreseeable attempt at a romance movie.

Many of the characters in this "Crash"-like romantic comedy work well enough and are about as interesting as they need to be. Some disappear however and fail to make a dent. So, yes, hit-and-miss; but the movie is enjoyable and holds your interest. Thinking about it afterwards, it doesn't examine any discoveries about the sexes, merely states that if a man doesn't call a woman, he's not interested. So it's barely ankle-deep, but it's pleasant and the actors and their characters are mostly solid.

A series of vignettes designed to shed light on the dating scene. Unfortunately, it relies on the same old tired plot devices and cliches that bring down so many other romcoms. There's the men scared of commitment, their women who take terrible advice from their wacky friends to try to trick them into making commitments, and the 00s conceit of trying to hiply integrate cell-phones in to the whole mess. It fails, to say the least. Don't bother watching this unless you're a Justin Long fanboy.

Two plus (plus!) hours of people making the wrong decision and then crawling back with their tail between their legs. At least the casting director had the foresight to cast the most adorable woman acting today in Ginnifer Goodwin, because her and Justin Long saved the film from being a complete disaster. Every other storyline was dull and uninteresting. I do like Kevin Connolly and Bradley Cooper as actors, though, so that helped.

First off, though its billed as a romantic comedy its really more of a drama. The guy who said it was like Crash (but with relationships instead of race as the issue) had it right and most of the movie is spent cringing as characters make terrible decisions and follow even worse advice. If there's a saving moment, it's that at least two of the subplots have actual character development and have characters who you can actually feel invested in, rather than wishing death upon (which is the rest).

So, where to start....Ginnifer Goodwin is Kah-ray-zay (are women really like this) for 90% of the movie, Scarlett is a marriage-wrecking vapid ho, Bradley Cooper is a douche, Jennifer Connelly is sad, Drew is almost hippy-dippy and almost non-relevant, and then there are so many other stereotypically annoying characters and the fact that their stories so convieniently intertwine, the movie verges on irritating - if not for Aniston, Long and *gasp* Affleck I would have HATED this altogether.

A romantic comedy that's brutally honest, but not just to the sad women waiting for their prince charming. Yes, like the book this story reminds women that, while there are women who occasionally have exceptional romantic stories, most of us will life lives without Puccini & sterling roses. We are, by and large, "the rule not the exception." But by the end, the male characters are well reminded of their own unrealistic expectations, bad-choices and failures to be honest with themselves.

it felt a bit elementary - their problems seemed so obvious and the characters, especially the females seemed a bit dumb. it wasn't unrealistic because people become irrationally stupid when feelings are involved. i liked the initial concept but the film ruined it by caving to a happy ending for all. the unbearably corny dialogue that was littered in the third act didn't really help either.

This movie is totally predictable, "schmaltzy", typical and follows the traditional romantic comedy formula, but it doesn't make me love it any less. Top badass moment? I've been to Baltimore (yes really) and I remember it being pretty run down with loads of empty properties. I don't remember many affluent 30 somethings hanging out in posh bars, although the local cider was surprisingly decent. The latter's about the most badass thing about the place, although it doesn't feature in the film itself. In the end I developed a significant dislike of all the characters; just not my demographic at all. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

It makes sense, is well put together, the acting is good and I hate it. I find very little to like about this film. Many of the story lines have a cynical or selfish tone that really rubbed me the wrong way. I ended up really hating some of the characters to the point it was painful to have them on screen. Most of the characters I did like ended up on a down note or were really cheesed up. One viewing was more than enough of this film for me.

He's Just Not That Into You was an enduring experience to say the very least. These types of films are the worst kind. It's common knowledge that rom coms with multiple plot threads are purely made to just fit in as many stars as possible. There's nobody in particular here that disgraces themselves. Several of the stars have since gone on to much bigger and much better things. But I'm sure the likes of Bradley Cooper & Scarlett Johansson don't look back at this film with many fond memories.
