Much more absurd and high concept than A Hard Day's Night, but not as enjoyable. Still, not a bad watch, and the music is, of course, great. I agree with Lennon's comment that it feels like the Beatles are supporting characters in their own movie.

I don't know how the Beatles managed to make such entertaining movies, but they pulled it off. Help! is also my favorite Beatles record, so that helps, but the movie itself is so surreal and almost Python-esque that it almost overshadows it. Almost.

A hilarious adventure surrounding the lovable Beatles. Help! made me laugh extremely hard. This is a lot funnier than A Hard Day's Night, and the camerawork is great. This movie is so strange, almost surreal at times, it really was a step up in some ways from the first film. Help! is definitely more entertaining, and has a fantastic soundtrack, I just had so much fun watching this.

One of my favourite movies ever, and that's not just because I'm a huge Beatles fan. The music is some of their best (in my opinion), the story irreverent, and the plot and dialogue are still hilarious.

Like, WTF! It seems so ahead of its time, like it belongs on Adult Swim. It's just CRAAAAAAAZY. More entertaining than A Hard Day's Night with and equally rockin' soundtrack. There are so many ideas in this film, its just a crazy mix of things...like Aqua Teen Hunger Force..but the Beatles. Some nice music videos though.

This film is a comedic gem that was truly ahead of its time. With its absurd, Monty Python-esque humor emerging five years before the troupe even debuted, it sets the stage for a new era of comedy. The straightforward yet uproarious plot seamlessly integrates classic Beatles tunes, creating an entertaining rhythm that propels the story forward. Help! remains a delightful experience that showcases the band's charm and wit in a uniquely engaging way.

Quite a bit of fun and I think really shows the beginnings of the Beatles' surrealist/psychedelic instincts.

Man, this was strange. I liked A Hard Day's Night better, for sure. This film is just nuts, and not in a fun, amusing way. It's nuts in a bizarre, uncomfortable and haphazard way. I like the guys' deadpan style of humour, but the sound editing is so bad, and the directon is so all-over-the-place, that I can't even deal with it. As with the previous Beatles film, the highlights are definitely the music sequences. Everything else is just kind of awful, to be honest.

the songs are brilliant and the Beatles are fantastic on screen. unfortunately there's not enough of them and too much of stereotypical-villains-running-around scooby doo style. some good gags tho.

A Hard Day's Night is superior in every aspect except this one is in COLOR. It's a weak plot and the humor is very dated, but the music is iconic and there is just something larger than life about seeing the Beatles together on film. I don't know if any quartet ever had better chemistry than these lads. It's obvious why they conquered the world...

It's kind of halfway between A Hard Day's Night and the Monkees' Head. Not as solid as either but a whole lot of fun and the last 15 minutes are especially great.

A ridiculous, charming caper that fires on all cylinders to out-do A Hard Day's Night, but isn't quite as sharp and memorable.

Their most underrated album done justice in a really pretty, wonky, Python-esque movie.

An intriguing oddity that big Beatles fans will probably enjoy on some level. Everyone else will probably find it inane. It should seem like a vanity project, but doesn't; the Fab Four phone it in though they're playing themselves, and the caper plot finds them doing little else but fleeing from stereotyped Eastern bad guys and engaging in some passable deadpan banter. The musical segments are great though, especially "Ticket to Ride" and "You're Gonna Lose That Girl".

Classic. I was raised with the fab 4 so I'm quite biased, but british-humor and good music lovers will enjoy it. I don't care that it's a B-movie, it got no actual plot and it generally sucks - It's MINE!

I'm not quite sure if this is worse than I expected or better. The movie mostly just features a lot of wacky and random stuff going on, and shot beautifully i might add, which is entertaining in small bursts but really doesn't go anywhere.

A silly movie. But hey, that's The Beatles in some funny situations! Need anything else? Well, I've found this better than Monty Python, at least.

Some great Beatle humour mixed with a lot of very 'of the time' stuff which has dated very badly. It is the Beatles, but that doesnt save the film. Worth it however just for the songs, which consist of the first half of the Help! album.

This movie tries so hard to be "mod" it was probably dated as soon as it came out. Manages to drag despite the Fab Four's charisma and their ageless music
