Stupid and over the top, but it was goddamn hilarious. For example: a zombie car made entirely out of zombies. What.. the fuck!

You could probably question how the film paints an anti-zombie government as fascist, while still having massive zombie carnage as its selling point. But once a chainsaw katana shows up, and the government introduces the Go Go Yubari law, all arguments are invalid.

I saw an alien starfish attach itself to a woman's head who just ripped out her daughter's heart. I saw a car made out of zombies being driven by another zombie. I saw a chick with a katana-chainsaw fight a nazi who has two spinal chords with attached heads for arms. I saw a woman with at least 6 arms fly in slo-mo through the air while shooting a shitload of machine guns. As far as splatter-B-movies go, this one was pretty goddamn hilarious.

Way too many things going on! I loved everything about this from, the cannibalism, the intense scenes, the antennas, the zombie groupies and the giant zombie lol watch and you won't be disappointed with the outlandish concept.

Points for originality.

Unrelentingly goofy nonsense that appeals primarily to the reptilian part of our brains, but the social commentary, as obvious and trite as it is, is amusing, and there are plenty of things to laugh at. It doesn't take itself seriously at all, which works out in its favor.

[Dir. cut] The right kind of zombie splatter by Nishimura who seems to be in the vanguard of J-sploitation genre these days. I stopped trying to wrap my mind around how crazy this film is after 5 minutes, because each scene tops the previous one in amount of WTF. After a while I got indifferent to crazy stuff, and story is almost non-existent. Watch it with like-minded friends and plenty of drugs of your liking - good time guaranteed.

You only need to watch for 5 seconds to tell whether or not you will enjoy the film. I gave it 6 seconds just to make sure

It doesn't quite live up to its contemporaries in the sub-genre, but it is as suitably insane and entertaining as "Tokyo Gore Police" or "RoboGeisha". It's so strange seeing Eihi Shiina in this crazy villain role after "Audition", but she's still amazing.

Extra points for creativity...negative points for execution.

This rating my not be completely fair, but I think this one was one too many for me. It felt so tired and boring, I guess I'm just done with B-production splatter horrors.

This movie has its moments and I actually liked the premise and over the top nature of the whole thing even when it was obviously trying too hard. The thing I didn't like and took away most of my enjoyment was the piss poor directing. I'm not a fan of the director or rather I think he's a shitty director but a super fun effects artist. The creature designs are crazy and a shit ton of fun.
