They pretty much do everything as well as you would expect, which is exactly why it's disappointing. I thought Creep did a better job of, well, creeping me out because it was so small scale. With the Hell House crew I didn't really care who lived or died since I knew they pretty much all die anyways as the story opens by telling you that. Like The Strangers, now I'm just watching people get tortured for ...fun? I guess suspense matters to me. All said this is creepy, just not creepy as hell.

Allegorical lesson in how Capitalism oppresses the proletariat through its carelessness at regulating health-and-safety in the workplace.

A mixed bag. It has creepy restrained moments, and cliché in-your-face horror moments. It has slow parts, and entertaining parts. It’s ultimately a much better pseudo-documentary than Savageland, but it ranges from good found footage horror film to been there done that as it loses its way by “opening night”. Only recommended to fans of found footage since there are better found footage films out there.

They really went overboard with the finale. It was actually quite good when it was just weird happenings involving clowns, but then they decided to stuff Act III with more convoluted plot devices than an entire season of American Horror Story. Come on guys, less is more.

Wanted to like this more than I did. There are some elements I enjoyed, of course. Clown man is sufficiently creepy, and the back and forth between the crew feels genuine. With a low budget they did well in some areas, but it does fall short on the whole. *Warning: Relies on strobes in a few spots which took me out of it and will be tough to watch for other photosensitive viewers. This is to be expected during a haunted house movie, so I'm not penalizing that. Okay acting and direction 5.2

The creepy atmosphere does the heavy lifting, and there are enough frights to satisfy.

This was surprisingly creepy. Of course, I've said it before, I do like found footage horror quite a bit, and I've watched even some of the worst ones out there. Hell House LLC does a decent job of building up the premise and introducing creepy bits slowly. I also really really REALLY hate clowns, so that needs to be said when it comes to the effectiveness of creepy in this horror for me.

Some nice scares, some very stupid and implausible decisions by the characters

I guess it's spooky enough. Why does every found footage film have to have the horniest, creepiest male character holding the camera? Yes, I said every.

2022'de #IzlediğimFilmler ; 64. Hell House LLC (2015) Buluntu sahte belgesel korkularından biri. Nasıl da atlamışım bunca yıl? Türün fena olmayan örneklerindenmiş. Bir üçleme olarak kurgulanmış, bu filmi izleyince diğerlerini de izleme isteği oluştu bende.

Genuinely terrifying and manages to actually place you in the Hell House very well. The found footage just giving you glimpses of all the terror and letting a lot of it build up in your mind. One of the few that managed to carry on what the Blair witch project started by understanding what makes found footage work.

By far the best of the haunted Halloween attraction films I've seen. The film got creepy at parts which were nice and although the final 20 or so was a bit of a letdown the rest of the movie still worked really well.

I can't get enough of mockumentarys and this one was nice. The chilling/scary moments are good and not jumpy all building up to a big ending you've waited for all along.

I disagree with the other review that places this worse ""The Houses October Built" . This movie is mediocre and forgettable, however it doesn't rely on jumpcares the way movies of tyoe tend to do. It also manages to be creepy thanks to the location and restrained script,

Same concept as "The Houses October Built" (2014): Haunt show turns into real life horror. Even less impressive to me, and in any case you've seen it all before. All the ridiculous trappings of the undying "found footage" fad are here, and nothing much to redeem it. Watch the trailer, all the best bits are already in there.
