"Heartless is as witless as its protagonist, whose willingness to make a pact with Satan is so knuckleheaded that his subsequent torment feels deserved." - Nick Schager

Fine little horror film. Sturges is good and Marsan is hilarious.

What if Kafka and Faust wrote Death Wish? Blends all manner of themes and plots and styles into a real mish mash of a movie. It shines when it is at its most bizarre and/or blackly comic, with the more straight segments becoming increasingly weak as the movie progresses, with an ending that needlessly undermines the movie.

Blank movie, has some potential, but this is more a draft than something worth seeing.

Interesting film, I enjoyed main lead performance very much. Although I believe it's a low budget movie, but it was way much better than tons of made-in-hollywood horror flicks.

A bit heavy handed and convoluted but it has some great ideas and a confident style that make it way more interesting than most mainstream horror-fodder.

A wonderful, yet depressing and very very dark movie. Jim Sturgess acts great, and his role is really likeable. His destiny, combined with "the devil's deal" makes the burden he has to carry fu**** huge.
