"Headshot" has a ton of interesting elements that almost make it feel like the entire season of a television series compressed into a single movie. In fact, I think it would be great if someone adapted it into a tv show. Here's how the theme song would start: Now this is a story all about how Tul's life got flipped turned umop-ep!sdn. So if you have a minute, just sit right there - I'll tell you how a Bangkok policeman's vision got impaired...

A concept that could have been wasted on an action movie with two or three cool set pieces instead becomes a very thoughtful and introspective thriller about the nature of justice and where we find morality in a corrupt society that we feel doesn't provide it. Its non-linear narrative can be confusing, though I'm not sure if the things that threw me off were intentionally uncleaar, poorly edited, or my fault. Still, it all coheres to the attentive viewer. Sirin Horwang is gorgeous.

this film was beautifully shot and interesting as an example of thai cinema, but suffered somewhat in terms of story. the film had two storylines that it was trying to meld into a single story, which didn't always work. there were also some gaps in logic that were placed there for the audience's sake. in all i think this film had a lot potential but would have benefited from a few more rewrites.

This hitman-drama-thriller is moody, exciting, calm, violent and introspective. That it easily (and suddenly) switches between these can be a bit disorienting, but the end result was more gripping than expected.

A crime-thriller and character study about the limits of morality we cross, and redemption that we seek. Intense and poetic.
