Angelique, a young student, is in love with a married doctor. We see her attempts to make him leave his pregnant wife, but he does not appear for meetings or finally the booked journey to Florence. Then the movie is turned back to the beginning, and the view changes: We are now following the view of the doctor instead of Angeliques. And things look quite different now... (imdb)

Half one sided love story and half stalker movie, put them together and you get a bad idea. I'm fairly confident that if the writing and directing were taken up about three notches it would have been a good movie. I won't deny this is a one trick pony, but if aptly made it would have been a damn fine trick.

This is pretty good if you want to just stare at Audrey Tautou's face for an hour or so. AND WHO DOESN'T? She's actually for real good in this, and manages to do a lot with... well, with what she's asked to do. The rest of the story is slightly interesting, but on its own not that great. It's a great idea, and it could have been a great movie. If both halves of the film had been even more heightened or something, maybe that would have saved it. It did get a little bit bland in there.

The movie starts of seemingly as a chick-flick, in fact it turns out to be thriller in the end. Audrey Tautou is brilliant as usual, it seems like she is perfect for such roles. Its a very well scripted, well directed movie. I would recommend watching this movie.

You really should watch "Amelie" first. It sets a nice stage to really make this movie a shocker. Tautou is a great actress, and this is her finest role (let me quantify by saying I've only seen three of her movies).

Interesting in the way that movies based off the DSM-IV are inherently interesting, triggering our reflex to stare at a psychological car crash. Everything Audrey Tautou does makes us cringe, but she's still beautiful to watch.

Bloody awful and badly directed, but hurray, it's got a clever gimmick!

Interesting, well acted though cheesy movie. Even though I suspected the reveal the whole time, and I'm usually bad at that sort of thing. The quality of the stream I saw on Amazon Prime was terrible, though, and the subtitles were bad.

Its always great to see the same situation through other person eyes and mind. It's so wonderful that finally someone has made a movie when viewers could see situations through two perspectives and how different these can be. Very smart decisions from director and writer Laetitia Colombani.

Audrey Tautou performance's is amazing in this movie. The movie is refreshingly original and I must admit the climax caught me off guard. A must watch. A dark romance.

A very good premise very badly made. Awful acting, ram-the-point-home-with-another-flashback direction and TV production values ruin a good idea.

Love the way the movie is not at all what you expect it to be and Tautou is great.

Worth the embarrassment of asking for this title at the movie store while a cute girl stood behind me.

Starts as a chick-flick, ends as a genuinely decent thriller. Any more info than that will ruin the whole thing. Not a huge amount of depth, but unusual and well done all the same.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not is primarily for the more serious of Tautou's fans, or just for those who enjoy well-crafted thrillers.

Clever enough gimmick movie, and very well-crafted. I wish they didn't give away so much on the box. They make it pretty easy to figure out what's going on.
