The odd thing about this film is that apparently in parts directed by comedian Hugh Herbert. Perhaps that's why this comedy isn't funny? Comes across as a typical risqué Lowell Sherman ladiesman vehicle, which there were a few of in those precode days. Except this was rather dull and lacked that smirk, little wink, to give it the naughty touch. He Knew Women (1930) becomes passionless, especially since the women knew him better.
