For me, Haunted Harbor (1944) ends up being one of the best serials of 1944. Exciting action, variation (at least for a repetitive serial) and even well acted for a action series. It even had mechanical sea monsters! Felt like they gave a little extra effort into this one compared to so many other lazy serials. Good fun!
