Harlekin

I did struggle a bit to pay attention to this one, a fact for which responsibility is probably shared.

The score here is mostly for the animation itself, which is delightful & full of imagination & detail even with the monochrome nature of it. The accompanying score is also quite nice. As for the story, I didn't fully understand what was going on for a decent amount of the runtime & it's only now as I read another user's review here that each scene was perhaps meant to be its own segment rather than part of an overarching plot- which I never noticed while watching. In any case, interesting watch.

This is really a bunch of collected "episodes" in Harlequin's life, as he bumbles from one love interest to another. The bathing scene feels a little risque even now.
