Joan Davis' last film for the cinema before turning to TV, having success with the sitcom I Married Joan (1952-1956). She'd made a goof of herself on-screen since 1935, supporting act for bigger productions and starring lady in B-comedies. A very funny lady, who managed to make this ridiculous comedy funny as well. Here pretending to be a Middle-Eastern princess to distract the evil rulers, ending up in weapons smuggling and a lot of trouble. All done in the silliest insincere way possible.
