Hard Target 2

This has no business being as good as it is. The action is much better than you expect - including a genuinely shocking takedown of one character - and frequently looks much more expensive than it is. The dialog is mostly bad but who cares? It's a trashy action movie that delivers the goods.

Scott hot body besides, a wonderful work of his, as usual, he is a good actor too apart from giving the best fight scenes performances ever. This one is not his best but is a decent movie, entertaining and it will make you see it until the end.

Even the few nice hand to hand fights are not saving this one. Motives and lines are ultra cheesy, everybody is dumb, it feels like a parody until you realise it is played straight. Somebody throws a spear at a landmine and it makes the dude jump away from the explosion in slow motion, and I guess you're not supposed to laugh. They made the Thai girl criminally inept even as someone supposed to know her way around and be tough

Passable but R.Mitra and R.Knepper was outrageously bad here [esp Mitra] and its 10-20 too long. Look for the hilarious fight at the end. T.Morrison underused and Adkins is no great lead

The movie was pretty decent for the first half but went down the toilet once the main character joined up with a woman searching for her brother. The whole thing goes in to melodrama territory and never really gets back on it's feet. It's too bad I was hoping for a big dumb thrill ride and this just failed to deliver.

so it's hard target(including doves adn slow motion) mixed with some Rambo stylings (including an asian woman with a locket) but reine is a good cheapo action director and atkins can throw a pretty cool looking kick so good cheapo action director knows to make atkins throw a lot of pretty cool looking kicks and there's some minorly amusing firefights as well. ive mentioned in other reviews i like hiking so all the hiking here was relaxing & the ending shots on the bridge were visually appealing
