I love Hannah Montana, and Miley Cyrus, and her face, and her dad *twitch*, and his triangle goatee, and her dad's accent, and her brother, and Cyrus' face, and *twitch* her teeth, and this movie, and the series, and her *twitch twitch* hair, and her *puke* clothes, and her MAKE-UP. AND HER ACCENT, AND THE HORSES AND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Say what you will about Mrs. Doubtfire, but at least that movie had heart, humor and a modicum of balls. This movie shamelessly rips off that movies best scene (you can figure out which one, and yeah I know it predates that movie in lots of sitcoms but Doubtfire had heart and I liked it, dammit) and otherwise dully meanders on to one of the worst endings in the the history of cinema. Also ... this is glorified Disney TV Movie, but I guess it's not Cyrus' fault that it got Theater release.

Lalalalallala Miley Cyrus. It had some enjoyment while you know whats going to happen, it's not one of those movies that you have to avoid like people are making it out to be. You know what it is and I think a lot of it will depend what you think of her music.

Miley Cyrus is super-cute and as long as she's not attempting comedy or wearing the blonde wig, she makes this movie watchable. Unfortunately, there is no other positive thing I can say about this movie. Guest stars are infinitely idiotic and forcefully tacked-on just to be there (I won't listen to Taylor Swift after this, that's for sure). The ending is stupid and basically makes the whole movie pointless. Which it is. Avoid.

Nowhere near the heights of hilarity that "Bratz" had. Infact, the film isn't even hilariously bad, it's just dull and painful. The only times I really laughed was when me and my friends made the jokes ourselves, rather than laughing at the awfulness on screen. And this spawned The Climb, so fuck this movie. The only reason I gave it this "high" of a score is that I'd genuinely rather watch this again than anything I've ranked below it.

The film is just an attempt to move fans of Hannah Montana over to Miley Cyrus because Miley had grown sick of playing Hannah. They have essentially made this the plot of the film. Near the end, as Miley reveals herself to be Hannah (which is a shock to the people in the film) and says she doesn't want to be Hannah any more, the fans plead for her to keep the character, swearing to "keep it between us." Mileys inner conflict is resolved, she puts the wig back on and Hannah is back! Yay!

In all seriousness, this movie wasn't THAT bad. Sure, it was predictable and stupid, but sometimes you need a good family movie to block out all the bad things in life.

There was lots of good music in this, but not much story line. And lots of the story seemed to be written just to give people a small cameo in the movie, rather then to drive the plot.

What can I say, the music and the story-line is what got me all choked up inside. A little girl who can write music from the heart and knowing the situation that she is in,I say go Miley/hannah! The duet of real dad Billy Ray got me deep inside my heart. Parents if you want to take your kids out to a good whole hearted family movie, please don't regret seeing this movie. Above all, there are family applications your child can certainly learn! Thank you for a clean soul-filling movie!

Don't get me wrong, I hate Miley's face, and I know full well everything that's wrong with Hannah, not to mention the character being generally unlikable and unbelievable. A ridiculous amount is idiotic and/or nearly unwatchable, but there's just.. many good songs (none of Hannah's), much good acting (none of Miley's) and really great characters, relations and good values for kids. Decent. Gonna have to agree with Kermode on this one.

Appealing to preteen girls who won't notice the cliches; however, their poor parents will pray for a quick end to this exercise in unabated commercialism. The goal of this big screen version of the Disney Channel series is clearly to further the franchise, with nothing original--ultimately making this an extended music video with a little "story" thrown in.

Miley Cyrus is hot, but a Hannah Montana movie is every bit as stupid an idea as Hannah Montana the TV show.

It was a slow start, but eventually it captured the same chemistry as the show. You're obviously not going to watch this expecting too much, but it's an entertaining endeavor, for what it's worth.
