After Kenny accidentaly kills a cop's diabetic horse by feeding it the food he purchased from a munchie run, he is put in jail and is given a 1 million dollar bail. The rest of the group must bail Kenny out before Nasty Nate gets to him. The group decides to sell marijuana that Thurgood gets through his job as a janitor at a pharmaceutical lab. Watchable, but hardly recommendable. Has about two good laughs and a small handful of chuckles. Lots of good cameos, but most of them were wasted opportunities. The cop-out ending was a big letdown.

Lightweight, enjoyable stoner comedy has the genre’s usual weaknesses: an aimless narrative, too leisurely and indulgent pacing, as well as a habit of overstating its gags – but as far as these things go, it’s amusing enough, with Chapelle, Diaz and Breuer making for a fun team; while none of the gags really reach gut-punching status, it’s a fun time. Romance with True seems a little flat and arbitrary.

Read the plot summary. Holy shit, do you think this movie is going to be close to good? The best thing about this is the cast. If you're a pothead, this movie might be great to watch while you're stoned, but it has little appeal to those of us who are contributing members of society. What a waste of the cast.

Dave Chappelle is great, and many of the lines that he delivers are hilarious. Sadly, his compatriots are dull stereotypes who fail to amuse and become grating rapidly, and the plot is pretty basic stoner fare. It's worth seeing for cultural literacy and for fans of Dave like myself, but it's far from a great film.

This is a funny movie. I am a fan of Chapelle and Jim Bruer is pretty good in this one too. The guy on the couch is amusing, too. Its a good movie that reminds me of college. Oh college how I miss it. Now I wake up around the same time I used to go to bed back then.

The only thing that kills this movie is the forced relationship between Thurgood and Mary Jane. Jim Breuer hasn't had a finer comedic performance outside of this movie, and has anyone heard from Guillermo Diaz (other than his guest shot or two on Chappelle's Show?) This is a stoner's stoner flick from start to finish, rivaling anything from the hallowed repertoire of Cheech & Chong.

A half-baked story, a fully-baked storyteller, and Old James (no wait, he wasn't there, I don't even know nobody named Old James) lend the film a certain smoggy air of awkward, stilted, fairy tale-like charm (Mary [Jane] Poppins-esque green-screen flying and all) but the good bits (e.g. guy on the couch, "janitor" and "scientist") are outnumbered by the bad ones: namely, a gross jail caricature (rape, always hilarious), eye-rolling scantily-clad henchwomen, and a romance that's hard to root for.

You do not need to smoke weed to find the humor in this film. Call me immature, call me whatever you want, there aren't very many movies I've laughed at more the whole way through than this little diddy. The three main characters all bring their own style of funny, and each of them deliver. And the plot is so... stupid! Really, don't expect a thinker here. That'd just be dumb.

Like so many stoner comedies, if you're out of your teen years and not high as balls there's not much point in watching this. Don't believe the Chappelle hype, even he was disappointed with the result. At most watch the Bob Saget part on youtube.
