Hababam sinifi askerde

Light and breezy POLICE ACADEMY-style hijinks in a Turkish military base is more grounded than standard Turkish comedy, and even quite amusing at times thanks to a cast that more or less plays the humour in a low-key rather than screaming at the clouds to bring the jokes in; it’s still far too long and overly derivative of its 80s comedy inspirations, but it’s still quite a lot of fun.
