Poor audio and picture quality. Felt like I was watching a crappy bootleg even though it was the official streaming copy available on Kanopy; surprised it was even in widescreen with sound and video so poor. It gets some props for having the guts to make one of the first images you see be a newborn corpse and the next thing be a newborn leg pumping away from the slashed stomach of a dead pregnant woman. Beyond that, there's nothing to this that you haven't seen done better a hundred times before

After a gruesome opening, the film slows down to follow the investigation, however, none of the characters really stand out which made the film less compelling to me. The ending was really stupid.

At first this appears to be a total rip off of Silence of the Lambs and Se7en but urban Korean setting and stylish photography creates an interesting and different atmosphere. It reminded me of Tell Me Something - another Korean serial killer flick which might not be that original, and might not always make sense but still gets the job done and holds your attention for it's duration.
