I remember this was one of my favourite books when I was young. And I think this film adaption is actually quite good. I think this movie would be nice to watch as a kid, even though some things were quite somber (the bullying) and other parts cute (friendship). So it's kind of bittersweet. After 50 minutes or so it becomes really fucking cool though.
