Guang yin de gu shi

Each segment is worse than the one before. The first is pretty good, it captures some honest moments of childhood and does so well. It's a bit lacking in development and treads water a bit too much, though I liked the ending. The second segment is about par. It too lacks forward momentum, but it's still a decent little coming of age short. The third is where it all falls apart with forced sentimentality and a terrible narrative, and the fourth is just empty nothingness of failed comedy.
