"I want to make a terrible movie in Canada--everyone else has!"--Scott Thompson/"Buddy in KITH. Except for Indian/"First Nation" subject matter, everything about this screams Lifetime Television Movie. At least Pierce Brosnan is pretty to look at shirtless, if you can ignore those braids.

The ending was the only good part.

Brosnan is surprisingly convincing in a very different role as Archie Grey Owl, an English born Caucasian who lived most of his life as an indigenous trapper, naturalist and \"native\" leader in the Canadian north woods of the early 20th century.

Passes the time.
