In many ways a rough early talkie, which was Sari Maritza's debut. The story is not very original, nor good. And like most early talkies, it's more about the songs. They do try with the visuals to create a atmosphere, and at times it's charming in that quirky early talkie way. William Freshman also provided some personality.
