Before David Twohy helped Vin Diesel put the finishing touches on his D&D campaign, he directed Timescape, starring not Jim Carrey and the girl from Jurassic Park. Unlike other filmmakers who try desperately to forge their tales of time travel around the paradoxical enigma that is the 4th dimension, Twohy just says "fuck it" and has our main character claim "time is stronger than we think" after witnessing that saving the lives of hundreds supposedly has no effect on the future. Bravo.

A perfect example of a movie that should be remade - but not today, in 1997 with Arnold. Not Vosloo, Schwarzenegger. Perfectly fine , has that energy of a movie you'd put on at cottage when it's raining out. The town destruction effect is adorable.
