Gran bollito

The plot is based on the real life case of Leonarda Cianciulli who murdered 3 women between 1939 - 1940 and turned their bodies into soap. However, in the film version many details have been changed and interestingly the 3 female victims are all played by male actors in drag. (theitalywiki)
