Dated in many aspects, but was intriguing because of it. Joan Crawford looked alluring as always, and Eve Arden character sure was something. Then there was the theme of the film. Romance with the honest brute or the old handsome flame. Frank Lovejoy felt like such a odd choice, but I loved it playing out the way it did because he was such a off-choice, and not necessarily likable either.
