This was exactly like what happened to me when i tried to off my wife for her 4 million dollar insurance policy, isn't that a coin-ci-dence! The only problem with this picture is it just doesn't quite deliver & wrap me up in the story, the sex isn't hot enough, & aside from a couple novel moments, this runs as expected.

It’s hard to say if this was intended as a proper neo-noir or a tongue-in-cheek parody, but it doesn't really work either way. Visually it’s got the look and the cast is ok. Patricia Arquette has a similar look as in previous year's Lost Highway and she looks astonishing. Too bad that the film itself is a curio at best and it's easy to see why it has pretty much vanished.

If this was made 5 years prior in the early 90's Hollywood suspense cycle, it could have been a great sleazy low-brow neo-noir. Corny direction fails to hit the right tone.
