Gotta love Joan Blondell. I wasn't sure what the relationship between her and her boss was really supposed to be, or why in fact he was so tempted to get involved with his obsessed, delusional old flame when he apparently had to lie to his secretary (girlfriend?) about it.

How delightful silly and bubbly! Childish even. Warren William always seems to love it when he just can have fun with his part and not care at all about being taken serious. The dialogue was always playful. A mix of mature and totally immature talks. Joan Blondell carried this as his secretary/modern lover, as she tries not to show her jealousy. It's a great and underrated Blondell performance! I was giggling a lot. It starts real well, but the farce gets a bit stupid toward the end.
