Despite all the nudity in this movie, Jessica Alba remains clothed. I suspect this will anger and frustrate most of the target demographic. It certainly hides her strongest talents as an actress.

Sometimes a plot is so simple it doesn't require any extra thought or nuance. Butts will hit seats because films of this ilk deliver what they promise. It's ridiculous to talk down to this movie because I saw it. It was a dozen years ago but look at that synopsis. I knew what I was doing. Hell, I still do it, and usually with even trashier oldies, but I'm less ashamed about those. What that says about me I'm still processing. Anyways, boobs in it! Recommended!

It counts if I watched this for 20 minutes and threw a brick through my TV right? No? Fuck you, I'm counting it anyway.

Did Jessica Alba use a stunt double in this film? When are they going to finally make a Dark Angel film? I refuse to discuss the storyline for this film. The stunts that Alba (or her double?) was put through left my date and I with many "Ooohs", "Ouch", "Yikes", "Again?" This girl couldn't go more than five minutes without something happening to her. And along with that she had to deal with Dana Cook's humor for 90 minutes.

I'm surprised this wasn't a straight to DVD release. The side kick is one of the most annoyingly unfunny assholes ever. Dane Cook blows and Alba is literally the only girl who doesn't show her tits in this movie...shame :(

Perhaps the only way to summarise this sort of film is "I laughed." And either you laughed or you didn't. Not that this film is so many miles ahead of any other comparable gross-out comedies, or that Cook, Alba, Fogler et al create meaningful and likable characters, or that much of the vulgar and mean-spirited comedy (especially denigrating "ugly" women expressing their sexuality) is so vulgar and mean-spirited, but in this case, the stuff clicks and works (at least in the moment).

[My predicted rating: 2.5] This one was a great surprise to me, I was all set to watch a passable RomCom, but this was definitely a funny, (albeit pretty crude) Comedy. Dane Cook (not heard of before) was of course the star of this film, it was easy watching, cringeable in parts, corny but quite original.

Nyeah.. Jessica, plz, listen to me.. You're gorgious.. But your acting's like shit.. Actually most of the acting is terrible. There are some funny moments and the idea is very good actually, but everything is worked out badly, and after a while you really get bored because sex is the only thing this film is about.

Why not take successful comedians and put them into motion picture films? This film is exactly the reason why. Also, I think I hate Jessica Alba. I can't recall a single film offhand where I thought she was even passable in her role.

It's completely worthless swill. The only reason that I rate this so highly is because the only somewhat intarestin' character in this film quotes Nietzsche, strangely enough, and I find that incredibly amusing because it's so out of place.

Good Luck Chuck is a bad romantic comedy full of cliché and utter nonsense. But it has a lot of breasts in it, so some of the people who plan to watch it will be happy and distracted by the simple fact that it isn't any good. It's jumpy, the jokes aren't memorable or even all that funny in the moment, and Dane Cook doesn't seem able to play the straight man. I didn't have fun, and that's the simple fact of the matter here.

Surprisingly better than I expected. Jessica Alba's character is incredibly endearing, and Dane Cook has his moments, although he definitely struggles with playing a character who isn't a complete ass. Did not care for the best friend character; he seemed like the producers' excuse to fill the movie out with more crude humor to appease Cook's fans.

Another one of the "romantic comedy"... there is nothing romantic in the movie nor is it comical except for the part of Stu (Dan Fogler). Dane cook is at his over acting as usual. Jessica Alba cant do a comic role even if her life depended on it. You are better of not watching it.

I liked Dane Cook alot at this point but was really disappointed. I am not prude, but the B-Porn feeling the montage in the middle had really ruined this movie for me. I mean they could have made a really funny movie, that would have had a much wider appeal if they took the gratuitous nudity out, but maybe that is the only reason anyone watched this poorly written movie? There were some funny parts... I guess?

The best joke out of this film only can only illicit a minor CHUCKle while the rest are a bunch of crass, unfunny throwaway gags. The love interest between Cook and Alba feels incredibly forced and Chuck's best friend character, who's supposed to be the trademark comedic sidekick is completely unfunny. This movie fails on almost every level and is a chore to sit through. And this is coming from someone who actually finds Dane Cook's stand up funny.

this is a really terrible movie, not mainly because of the primitive humor (sometimes i like that), but for the annoying characters! jessica alba and dan fogler are a pain in the a** right from the beginning and i thought thank god dane cook isn't that bad. but in the last third of the movie he picks up the pace and goes straight ahead for the gold medal in annoyance... the other weak parts of the movie were mentioned by others...

If blowing someone away with blandness was an admirable quality, you'd have a power couple in Dane Cook and Jessica Alba but instead you have a movie that is so forced its a feels alot like what I imagine rape to be.
