Gonza the Spearman

Impeccably staged & 10/10 for appearance but....the pace seems as rigid & emotionally dead as the society portrayed. Duty and honour are everything to the characters here but that does not translate well to a sentient audience. In a funny sort of way reminded me of soviet era culture & architecture. If insects were on such a scale they might do as much & as well but always by rote, without humanity. If showing that was the intent it is wonderfully realised but at the cost of being entertainment.
