In a big cave an evil dwarf sorcerer is performing a bizarre ritual. Suddenly four righteous sorcerers enter the cave and attack him. In the subsequent struggle they wound the dwarf sorcerer fatally and throw him into a stone coffin. They carefully seal the coffin. The present time: a group of photographers investigate the legend of the evil sorcerer. They enter the cave and break the seal. Red smoke gushes from the coffin and ghastly things start to happen. First of all fuck them for killing all those piglets, cocks and scorpions, that was cheap shot. The film takes place in some exotic Eastern islands, and it is shot on location. That's about the only good thing I can say about this rare (and probably illegal in most of civilised world) film - it is very authentic. The plot is a mess. Like always Taoist priests comes and saves the day.

It has plenty of truely terrific horror/death scenes, but it's a bit of a drag between them. A better editing wouldn't hurt, especially the ending feels surprisingly abrupt, like the film ended minute too early. On the other hand bonus points for nice main actress that spends pretty much whole second half of the film in wet white see-through blouse - so hot! Even with it's weak points, still it's a recommneded viewing for anybody who's into Asian weirdness.

I feel bad because I'd probably rate this higher if had been able to find this to watch anywhere other than youtube, if I ever get my hands on this in a different format I'll re-rate.
