Gold Is Where You Find It

A color prestige production from Warner Bros about the days of gold finds in old California which causes a clash between the dam and the land owners. A little uneventful in long periods, but it's got some sweet moments with George Brent and the stunning Olivia de Havilland who is always favorable in color. Things picks up at the end when things heats up between the two factions and it ends on a satisfying note. Plus it's always cool to see Claude Rains in corny American get-ups!
