For a minute it seemed to be about how The System dehumanises its own disposable soldiers to prepare them for the big G. Would've been interesting. Instead we get a main character all shamefully creepin' on a scientist lady who immediately drops everything she cares about when her maternal instincts kick in. Oyyy. The fights are relatively amusing, MechaG was surprisingly useful and Rodan gets laser'd in the balls so hard he throws up in his mouth. It's the small things that make life enjoyable.

The monster fight scenes are legitimately well-choreographed and enjoyable. The human characters, their dialogue, and reactions off their ridiculous scenarios are almost always funny and entertainingly silly. Mechagodzilla is always a pleasure, and even Baby Godzilla wasn't as annoying as I predicted.

This is the first film I ever saw in a movie theater (I was 6), so I'm certainly looking back at it through the lens of nostalgia. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried when Radon made the ultimate sacrifice to help Godzilla. I can't say I've ever seen this particular film again, but I don't want to spoil my childhood memories by finding out how terrible it is.

The Godzilla equivalent of waking up hungover and checking your outgoing text messages. The series makes a u-turn back toward the second film, but iunno, G vs Ghidorah kind of fucked everything up. Like, why is Miki still around for all of these things? Wouldn't her life be perfectly normal without the events of her debut film? I know I shouldn't be thinking too hard about these things, but I made the mistake of watching the one Godzilla series with continuity back to back.

Mechagodzilla becoming Super Mechagodzilla comes out of nowhere, so cool. Vegetarian Baby-Godzillasaur is adorable. The human plot is particularly nonsensical this time around, but Radon barfing blood is worth it. Went out like a total cuck to Godzilla, even sacrificing his life to revive him.

Baby Godzilla rocks. This one has some good fights but the human stuff is too silly even for me. Also this whole franchise is obsessed with psychic kids.

More action-packed monster fighting than your average Godzilla movie! But the plot is a convoluted mess, even by this franchises standards.

Fun movie. Though the baby Godzilla is pretty lame.

A bit corny at times (even for a Godzilla flick) but this one has some great carnage and one of the best Godzillas visually. Baby Godzilla is kind of creepy.
