Go Trabi Go

Amiable road movie feels like a breezy European spin on the 'NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION' movies; inevitably episodic but notable for a far more casually liberal bent in terms of its characters and their adventures (the tame scene on the nude beach would be unthinkable in an equivalent U.S. version). Appealing performances by all 3 family members, though Schmutzler's effervescent and charismatic performance steals the show. Inconsequential but good fun.
