The story is very simple, the dialogue makes absolutely no sense, the cinematography was excellent, the acting was off kilter but that worked here, and the music was perfect for each scene.

Exciting and frantic quite like the nouvelle vague. Doesn't over stay it's welcome and looks quite nice. I liked the cuts between colour and B&W.

My third Wakamatsu and I don't really get why he is such a cult figure. Yeah, his films are quite stylish, but they're also among the dumbest things I've ever seen. Some call it poetic, but I'm truly wondering if that guy had some kind of intellectual disability. If I didn't know some Japanese I'd probably thought that somebody is trolling me with fake subs.

Disappointing; the plot seems pretty sophomoric to me, and there isn't much to distinguish this from other exploitation films, although camerawork is mostly well-done and the soundtrack is very good.

Quite a positive surprise, even though my PSI was 74 I expected some cheap sexploitation but it's more than. Made in a quite lyrical and poetic language, shifting some black and white to color as a nice touch even if it isn't with masterful sensibility. Sometimes a bit too blunt but it's pretty appealing in most ways I can think of, some sort of existentialist killing and rape spree.

It is not enough to have great music, shoots, or gore witch are symbolic. Maybe it is unique movie in that time about abuse, sex and depression with teenagers but still naive concept kill everything...

I'm not sure if I'm getting everything there is to get here, but that's often my experience of surrealism.
