Gimme Shelter

Gimme Shelter is about great kindness in the midst of severe suffering. It's about what a difference people can make under difficult circumstances. There's a lot of anger in the early movie that either doesn't make sense, or isn't explained well. Maybe this is how things really were, but from a "movie" perspective, it's a case of "there for the sake of being there" things with not a lot of explanation, when it doesn't take much effort to explain them. The whole flick reeks of perspective bias, which I guess is to be expected. Love me some JEJ & Rosario Dawson. Hudgens is hit-and-miss. Inoffensive, has its moments, but not the greatest.

Just watched this apparently for the second time (had clearly forgotten the movie) since I had previously given the film a 61. I have no idea how I came up with that number. I always know that when I'm watching a movie and find myself thinking about what I might post about a film that I'm looking forward the end of the show. This just struck me as Lifetime channel crap that I'm sorry I wasted time with AGAIN! My descriptor for "Gimme Shelter" is "shitty." Good god almighty....
