Cute singing affair, but that's about it. Apart from a short moment of serious fighting, the rest was a pinoy song bonanza as Mila del Sol was being courted. Most interesting thing about this pre-WWII Philippines movie was seeing Fernando Poe, that's Sr, not Jr. who was also a major star decades later. Poe was a handsome man with undeniable flair, a local superstar who died at the young age of 34 of rabies!!! Cool to see the man that started the Poe dynasty which today is strongly in politics.
