Such a 'loud' film considering there is no audio, which can only be the case because Friedrich is highly skilled at constructing images and text to generate a violent experience for the viewer. The abstract nature of the film means that you can only generate an impression and not interpretation of Friedrich's intentions (something to do with lesbian sexuality and religion, a common theme for Su).
