Gems of M-G-M

One of many vaudeville short films that came out at the dawn of sound. These almost served as audition tapes as the studios had to go looking for new types of artists for the new medium. Here Benny Rubin, the only star in this, serves as master of ceremonies doing ethnic stuff in between introducing rare acts that got a shot, none of which got past a handful screen appearances in small parts before never getting called back.
