Gekijô ban Kara no kyôkai: Dai ni shô - Satsujin kôsatsu (zen)

this feels hard to judge right now, without the context of the rest of the series. it's also voyeuristic in a way that feels frankly out of touch (surprise). and the plot is annoying. but the psychology digs away omnidirectionally, posing and answering completely different questions, miming off on its own

When a protagonist is so stupid, and so willing to bend over for love, why should i care. Those people annoy me in real life and in movies, usually someones life is on the line, so it makes the issue 10x worse. Mix in your laughably dumb protagonist with an even deeper "I'm 14 and this is deep" dialog. The animation is shitty, with so many photos used instead of drawings. Also what a horrible way to portray split personalities. It's not even that it's offensive, its just a tired cliche

In this installment we get some background about the two main leads but it's really slow and still feels like it lacks depth and emotion. The blank look that all the characters have if a big distraction for me and the voice actor are very flat with their delivery. It's a step up from the first film but it's not really drawing me in.

Has more gore than the previous one, but it's kind of slow, and like many anime, very cheesy which makes it quite uncomfortable

Fleshes out the characters, but does so at the expense of pacing.
